"I share my cancer journey not to seek sympathy, but to offer hope, strength, and companionship to others walking a similar path. You're not alone—we're in this together."

My journey began in January of 2013. I remember the day vividly—January 21—just three days before my birthday.
I knew something was wrong when I was unloading a case of bottled water. As it pressed against my left breast, I felt a strange discomfort—something wasn’t right.
My two boys were young at the time; one was in second grade, the other in fifth. I set the water on the kitchen counter and quietly slipped into the bathroom to check.
With a sense of dread, I raised my left arm, scared of what I might find. Hesitantly, I pressed my fingers to the spot that had been bothering me.
That evening, after dinner, I pulled my husband aside and told him what I had discovered. As I spoke the words out loud, flashes of the future raced through my mind—hospital rooms, surgeries, and tears. It was the moment everything changed.
